Structural principles of the Land Registry 6. The Possession Institute: concept, characters and constitutive facts, acquisition and loss of possession, effects, defence of possession 7. Adverse possession 8. Various types of property rights 8.1 Ownership; general regime 8.2 Co-ownership 8.3 The horizontal property 8.4 Right of usufruct 8.5 Right of use and housing 8.6 Surface right 8.7 Building easements 8.8 Periodic housing rights 8.9 Durable housing rights 9. Acquisition Rights. Concept and regime. 10. Guarantee Rights. Concept and regime.
Objectives
It is intended that this course provides the basis for learning and understanding the concepts, principles and legal rules of property rights.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Lectures of materials and syllabus and its densification through the case study method. Continuous valuation: 2 written tests of 1h30m hours (50% and 50%).
