Presentation
Recovering the reasons of Labor Law I, the approach proposed therein would be incomplete. Thus, to
fulfill this purpose arises Labor Law II. In addition to complete the analysis of the legal regime of the
individual labor relationship, a brief reference to the Collective Labor Law phenomenon is included.

Objectives
This subject continues Labour Law I. It aims to complete the study of relashionships between employers and employees, namely: remuneration; the transfer of an undertaking; suspension of employment contracts; contract ending. The course aims also at the study of some issues concerning collective labour relashionships, namely employees¿ representation structures and strike. As for each one of syllabus subjects, students shall learn to solve concrete problems, with legal, case law and doctrinal resources. They shall also get a theoretical knowledge, which works as a background for the understanding of more complex problems and the development of critical points of view concerning jurisprudencial or doctrinal considerations, such as legislative options.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
TEACHING METHODOLOGIES: Classes have a theoretical and practical component. After a theoretical exposition, which conveys the essential contents of them, it will be confronted with concrete problematic hypotheses. Critical analysis of case law on the most relevant and controversial matters Students who have not obtained approval in continuous assessment, can resort to the realization of appeal exam. Students who, in the appeal exam, obtain the classification of 8 or 9 values ¿¿will also have the possibility of taking an oral exam.
ASSESSMENT: The evaluation is continuous, in accordance with the Evaluation Regulation in force, consisting of two written tests, one to be held in the academic period and another after the end of this. Students will be required to attend 70% of classes. If they attend 85% or more of the classes, they will receive 1 value in addition to the grade resulting from the mentioned written tests.
