Introduction to Law II
Presentation
The approach developed in Introduction to Law II, as it happens to Introduction I, aims for a balance between an introductory intention (so that it may be possible a rigorous conceptual and dogmatic clarification of different legal norms and cases) and a critical-reflective internal intent (so that it may be possible to discuss, even though perfunctorily, the questions concerning legal system, sources of law and juridical methodology)

Objectives
The stage in question is concentrated on the problems of legal system, sources of law and juridical methodology.and wants to provide the future jurist with some indispensable resources, assuring simultaneously a critique mobilization which overcomes traditional normativistic conceptions. This concentration is essential to the future student' s course, giving him an unique opportunity ( with the plausible depth at this stage) to recognize decisive problems of Legal Theory and (especially) Legal Methodology, which are indispensable to the construction of an authentic jurist - which means acquiring thematic, conceptual and reflective skills which will be mobilized in the several dogmatic areas.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Systematic exposition of themes, accompanied readings, classroom discussion of work proposals included in the class materials (developed summaries), presentation of exemplar problems, an attempt to mobilize the developed summaries as an incentive to an autonomous reflection (avoiding that they may be used as a resource to uncritical memorization). Beyond the possibility of exam (configurayed as a supplementary examination), the evaluation is a continuous one, involving 2/3 of presences and two written tests [50%+50%]
