Introduction to Community Law II aims to develop the training of students in European Union law with a view of their consistent training in the application of EU law, EU jurisdictional system and existing jurisdictional procedures, as well as in the fields of the European citizenship and fundamental rights recognized in the The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

1. The EU as a Union of Law 2. Judicial structure of the European Union 3. The Court of Justice 4. The General Court 5. Specialized courts 6. General principles with procedural implications: the principle of effective judicial protection and the right to a fair and reasonable trial 7. Principles and general structure of the EU Courts procedural framework 8. The preliminary ruling process 9. The Action for Annulment 10. The Action for Failure to Act 11. The Exception of Illegality 12. Actions for failure to fulfil obligations 13. The action for damages for non-contractual liability of the European Union decision-maker 14. Precautionary measures 15. Autonomy and integration in the protection of fundamental rights in the European framework 16. Objectives
It is intended that this course provides the basis for understanding European Litigation and fundamental rights recognized under European law, with students becoming aware of their general and fundamental principles.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Lectures of materials and syllabus and its densification through the case study method. Continuous valuation: 2 written tests of 1h30m hours (50% and 50%).
