The objective of this discipline is to widen the knowledge acquired in Computer networks with advanced slight knowledge, approaching the concepts about the technologies associated with the transmission of Multimedia, Network Wireless and Security. The learning will be illustrated by real examples extracted from applications and protocols more used and will be based on theoretical and practical lessons.

Syllabus
Chapter 1 introduces the thematic one of the security in networks, that includes security basic knowledge, the principles and algorithms of the encryption, protocols of authentication, possible attacks and measures of protection.
Chapter 2 presents the networks wireless and mobility. An introduction of the main characteristics of these networks and protocols used. The concepts of addressing and guiding are defined in what mobility is concerned.
Chapter 3 presents the protocols multimedia, pointing out the protocols for applications in real time and the protocol of reserve. Also one approaches the subject of the quality of service in perspective of its necessities, implementation and architecture.
Chapter 4 introduces the management of the networks. The infrastructures of networks are identified and the Standard Internet Management Framework is characterized.
Objectives
Correctly use the tools in the context of the security in network, network wireless, protocols multimedia and management of network, as well as, to effect the analysis of a problem and its implementation.
