Provide a set of general knowledge about the architecture and software development requirements for embedded systems. It is intended to work on the student's ability to design software projects for embedded systems, with emphasis on Android programming for mobile devices.

1. Definition and Characterization of Embedded Systems

Objectives

Provide students with methods, techniques and tools to design and develop applications for Android mobile devices.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

Theoretical-Practical classes (expository and accompaniment of laboratory guides that students implement in laboratory computers)

Continuous Assessment

•  40% theoretical component
  • realization of two frequencies (15% + 25%)
• 60% practical component
  • Project
• all evaluation elements have a minimum grade of 10 points.
• Attendance
  • Attendance will be made, in paper with signature of students in attendance sheet Maximum number of absences corresponds to 30% of the total classes

Exam Assessment (appeal season or special season)

• 40% Theoretical Component:
  • exam (40%)
• 60% Practical Component:
  • grade obtained during continuous assessment
• all evaluation components have a minimum grade of 10 points.
