1. Historical evolution and nature of Organizational Behavior - Key moments in the history of management and the emergence of Organizational Behaviour and its contribution to the management 2. The Individual and the Organizational Behavior - The relationship between human nature and Organizational Behavior 2.1. Emotional Intelligence and IQ 2.2. Occupational stress 3. The organization and the Organizational Behavior 3.1. Organizational Culture 3.2. Organizational Citizenship Behavior 3.3. Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility
Objectives
1. Understand how Organizational Behavior emerged and what is its contribution to the management 2. Analyze the Individual within Organizations 2.1. Understand the importance of emotional intelligence (EI) within organizations and distinguish between IQ and EQ / IE 2.2. Understand what coupacional stress is, its antecedents and consequences 3. Analyze organizational factors that characterize the Organizational Behavior 3.1. Analyze the importance of the study of organizational culture and distinguish between organizational culture and climate 3.2. Analyze organizational citizenship behaviors and understand its importance in organizational effectiveness 3.3. Identify ethical and socially responsible behavior within organizations and understand their importance
