>> Understand the structure and practice of using legal instruments.

>> Know the legislation applicable to several environmental themes, simulating its application in professional practice situations (with cases studies).

Teaching methodologies and assessment

The teaching methodology aims to encourage participation and stimulate students' initiative in their own educational process, being structured in two types of sessions:

     >> Theoretical sessions, through the presentation of themes, videos and other multimedia content.

     >> Practical sessions, through case study analysis, practical exercises and group discussions and reflections.

The cumulative impact of these two types of sessions provides an iterative relationship between students and teacher, promoting an effective participation in the classroom and linking knowledge with professional practice.

The Continuous Evaluation Method will be applied (in accordance to the ULP General Evaluation Regulation), considering two assessment instruments:

     >> Participation and assignments in the classroom (30%)

     >> Written test (70%)

Classes are compulsory (students may not miss more than 30% of planned classes).
