Introduction to Political Science
Presentation
The subjet is inserted on the field of Political Science, being fundamental to the study circle. This comes from the fact that it enables graduates with instrumental concepts to understand the acquisition and affirmation of political power in politically organized societies and the international community, the understanding of political science's autonomy, the nature and purpose and functions of the modern state, the power of the state, interest and pressure groups, political parties and the ideologies that guide them.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Synthesis and dialogue classes designed to provide an understanding of the realities underlying the subject's programatic items. Assessment method consisting of the accomplishment of two written tests and the elaboration of individual papaers of critical analysis of concrete situations.
