Presentation
It is intended to give students an overview of the cultural system in Portugal, with a special focus on the performing arts sector. It is also intended that students are able to understand the economic aspects of the arts, namely with regard to financing issues. It is also intended, in this last aspect, to be able to prepare applications for official and private entities and to be able to prepare project budgets.

7. How to prepare a project production budget
8. How to submit financial support applications: preparation of dossiers.
Objectives
Be able to prepare budgets and submit applications for funding. Be able to understand the political and economic system of the arts in the national and european context.
