History of Contemporary Architecture promotes the study of ideas and their evolution to delineate thearchitecture of modern and contemporary society around the world, and stimulates the crossing ofknowledge from various scientific areas for the understanding of architectural interpretation and design,through the dismantling of works of architecture, reference both in the classroom and on site visits.

Syllabus

The most significant contributions to the evolution of the city during the twentieth century;

  • The new town and urban planning of the twentieth century
  • References for Contemporary Architecture
  • Panorama of international contemporary architecture and national

Objectives

Explain the contribution of ideas and their evolution to delineate the architecture of modern society in its field of operation.

Stimulate interdisciplinary, cross-promoting knowledge to introduce each scientific area for the common goal of understanding the architectural work, in all its scales and approaches.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

The contents of the program are exposed through lectures supported by audiovisual means thatillustration matters and through the development of a theoretical and practical work.

CRITERIA:
