Presentation

History of Contemporary Architecture promotes the study of ideas and their evolution to delineate the architecture of modern and contemporary society around the world, and stimulates the crossing of knowledge from various scientific areas for the understanding of architectural interpretation and design, through the dismantling of works of architecture, reference both in the classroom and on site visits.

Objectives

Explain the contribution of ideas and their evolution to delineate the architecture of modern and contemporary society in their field.

To stimulate interdisciplinarity, promoting the intersection of knowledge to be introduced by each scientific area for the common purpose of understanding the architectural work, in all its scales and approaches.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

The contents of the program are exposed through lectures supported by audiovisual means that illustration matters and through the development of a theoretical and practical work.

 

CRITERIA:

  • Creative Capacity of argument;
  • Ability to present written knowledge acquired;
  • Ability to present orally acquired knowledge;
  • Graphical presentation of work; Research capacity;
  • Application on classroom of other knowledge.

B  Attendance to a minimum of 75%.

C  The assessment is continuous, without final proof..
