Syllabus
The syllabus Drawing 2.2 is developed in two phases arising from work done in the previous semester in Drawing 2.1. Phase 1 - Conception (10 lessons) The act of creation and discovery, awareness and knowledge of the body; real and imaginary; memory: memory and forgetting; the idea and its development through different systems of representation; the idea and its development as a graphic and plastic image; drawing as a research, speculation and implementation tool of the architectural project. 2nd Phase - Communication (5 lessons) Project, drawing and communication; from conceiving to communicating, to think the act of drawing as communication; composition and communication; synthesis and communication; articulating representational systems and forms of drawing in the communication phase of the project.
Objectives
Enable the student to draw with effectiveness in the realization and representation of architectural projects; to exercise the manual and mental tools when using different techniques, systems, codes, models and processes of graphic and plastic representation in the construction and articulation of architectural images and their respective spaces, in order to understand the visible world and clarify and deepen the meanings of interventions; develop the skills and critical awareness of one's own ideas; stimulate creativity, based on a drawing activity.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The program will be developed according to the typology of lectures and practical exercises, in close conjunction with the syllabus of Project 2.2. The theoretical sessions are intended to provide the materials, topics, examples and the theoretical foundations of practical exercises to develop in each phase of work and study. Worksheets will be provided defining the theoretical and practical framework of each phase, as well as the regime of exercises and parameters of evaluation and critique. The focus is contact between the teacher, the student and class, subjects engaged in the interaction of knowledge and expectations, questions and answers. Evaluation without final exam, based on individual assignments; continuous evaluation, implying the systematic presence of the students in all the classes and it is considered as a limit to obtain attendance at least 75% of the classes given.
