Syllabus
The syllabus of Drawing 2.1 is developed in two phases, essential in the preparation of materials that will be developed in the second semester in Drawing 2.2. Phase 1 - Assessment and Analysis of Place (10 lessons) Graphic and plastic approaches on-site intervention; perception and representation, proportion and scale, internal and external structure, volume and surface texture; topology, typology, construction and morphology, tone, color and light, expression and analysis of construction materials; relation between body and space: time, motion and rhythm; responsible use of photography and other capturing devices. Phase 2 - Analysis and Treatment of Images (5 lessons) Review and selection of images of the place of intervention; articulation of images, codes and systems of representation in order to deepen and internalize the characteristics of the place of intervention; optimization of drawings in order to be used later in the phase of the architecture project.
Objectives
Enable the student to draw with effectiveness in the realization and representation of architectural projects; to exercise the manual and mental tools when using different techniques, systems, codes, models and processes of graphic and plastic representation in the construction and articulation of architectural images and their respective spaces, in order to understand the visible world and clarify and deepen the meanings of interventions; develop the skills and critical awareness of one's own ideas; stimulate creativity, based on a drawing activity.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The program will be developed according to the typology of lectures and practical exercises, in close conjunction with the syllabus of Project 2.1. The theoretical sessions are intended to provide the materials, topics, examples and the theoretical foundations of practical exercises to develop in each phase of work and study. Worksheets will be provided defining the theoretical and practical framework of each phase, as well as the regime of exercises and parameters of evaluation and critique. The focus is contact between the teacher, the student and class, subjects engaged in the interaction of knowledge and expectations, questions and answers. Evaluation without final exam, based on individual assignments; continuous evaluation, implying the systematic presence of the students in all the classes and it is considered as a limit to obtain attendance at least 75% of the classes given
