Syllabus

1. Transdisciplinary language and dance-theater in its visual, poetic, emotive and sensorial specifications; 2. Expressive body and centers of movements: roots, extremities, rhythms, memory, vanishing points. 3. Writing of dramaturgical maps in the collection of the test experiment. 4. Experimentation and analysis of creation processes. I work on scenes and sequences of shows. 5. Creation of a show from the previous stages, with a deepening of the research in this sense: drama, movement, improvisation / solo and group composition. 6. Construction and definition of sequences, plastic and musical environments. 7. Structuring a script.

Objectives

To know and experience the specific modes of creation of a transdisciplinary spectacle, a dance-theater show with strong plastic, poetic and musical components; Understanding (exercising) the profile required of the performers in these contexts: notions of collective creations and the polyvalence of artists. Understanding (exercising) the fundamental notions for the development of an expressive body adequate to the demands of the transdisciplinary spectacle; To develop technical and creative skills in improvisation and composition with body and movement; Understand the processes of non-narrative dramaturgical writing and respective dramaturgical maps, with material research and creative writing.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

With this curricular unit it is fundamentally intended to offer a laboratory space, a space for experimentation and exploration of concepts, techniques and tools. It will promote the articulation between: expositive practices and case analysis; experimentation and guided discovery practices; and practices of debate and joint reflection. In a continuous way, routines of physical training, improvisation exercises and composition will be developed. Collective development of a project / assembly of a show. Assessment: critical-reflexive participation in the process (20%); creative contribution in all the points of the program (50%); Artistic rendering and presentation (30%).
