Syllabus
The performativity of the text. The heterogeneity of the dramatic text. The performativity of non-dramatic texts. Reading, analysis and dramaturgical interpretation of dramatic and non-dramatic texts. Construction of scenic moments and a performative event based on a classic, modern or contemporary text. Essay. Presentation. Evaluation of the process and performative product. Process Journal. Collective evaluation. Individual report.
Objectives
Understand the importance of text in the performative process.
Choose appropriate styles of representation for the context and gender of the text.
Create a performative event based on a text.
Evaluate the process and act of creating this event.
To develop the capacities of literary analysis of the dramatic text in the more concrete perspective of a logic of construction of a spectacle, looking for solutions of interpretation.
Acquire and develop techniques and abilities specific to theatrical work: diction, expressivity, physical domain, originality, creativity, imagination, memory, concentration, availability, generosity, ability to integrate the indications, ability to find solutions.
Fix the solutions found during the scenic experimentation process.
Integrate and articulate the validated findings with a view to the final result.
Develop habits of reflection on artistic abilities and recognize the gaps to be filled.

Dramaturgical analysis; interpretation; knowledge of oneself and of one's emotions; choice and decision; group work; availability for experimentation; search for their artistic limits; questioning; sensitivity; creativity; foundation and implementation; imagination; memory; concentration, availability; generosity; Theatrical techniques: diction, expressiveness, physical mastery, originality, concentration, availability, generosity, ability to integrate the indications, ability to find solutions.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Laboratory practice classes and tutorial orientation.
Assessment: 50% Continuous Process Assessment; 35% Technical and Artistic Performance Evaluation; 15% Student Report Score.
