Syllabus

¿1. The actor´s role in the theatrical creation; 2. Creating a character in the scope of contemporary theatre; 3. Identify a character through individual and collective work. 4. Creating a character through individual and collective improvisation. 5. Creating a character and work dialogs.

Objectives

1. Integrate knowledge and techniques based on the stage teacher's proposal; 2. Debate concepts to implement proposals in the scope of contemporary theatre; 3. Identify a character in collective and individual path. 4. Master body and voice. 5. Grant the students with impro techniques to create a character. 6. Explore collective work based on time, space and pace.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

¿1. Collective and individual practice of theatrical creation; 2. Collective and individual practice of the dramaturgy exploration of the contemporary theatre; 3. Creation of a show, going from the contemporary theatre.

The assessment is continuous and is based on the development of the proposals and ability to apply the acquired knowledge regarding theatrical practice. The assessment of the developed practical work, namely the work in classroom, is combined with a final grade, from 0 to 20, being 10 the minimum grade.

PROJECTS ¿ 100% 1. Procedure: Attendance, participation in class, respect for the deadlines, demonstration of knowledge on the work process and ability to respond in theatrical practice 80% 2. performance presentations 20% 3. Attendance 10%
