Syllabus
Creation of a theatrical performance for public presentation with its stages of development: pre-production, production and presentation; including the necessary training, according to the following agenda:
BODY AWARENESS: perceptive knowledge of the body, nuclei of body expressiveness;
SELF CONFIDENCE / DESINHIBITION: elimination/control of the negative determinants (fear, shyness, fear of displeasing or need for approval);
BODY EXPRESSION IN MOTION: space (extension/level/directions), time (durations/rhythms), energy, weight and balance, relationship (intrapersonal/interpersonal/with space/with objects);
VOICE AND ELOCUTION: breathing and vocal apparatus, breath awareness: zones and rhythms, relaxation (development and technique), voice: emission/placement, elocution;
DRAMATIC EXERCISE: observation and memory, the gestural body, creativity;
GROUP WORK: consciousness, analysis and synthesis of the working group;
DRAMATIC GAME: improvisation/interacting/dramatization
Objectives
Develop the capacity for expression and communication, promoting the exploitation of the resources of verbal and non-verbal languages;
Discover, systematize and take ownership of the different elements of the dramatic language and simultaneously develop the consciousness/perception of its artistic form;
Develop autonomy and the capacity for initiative and cooperation through direct involvement in creative processes;
Create an individual workframe with quality and openness;
Develop scenic self-confidence (physical/emotional) that makes you a centered, multi-faceted and creative interpreter.
Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
Identify the concepts and languages of theatrical show.
Develop awareness of your physical/emotional identity;
Develop searching techniques for emotional tools;
Develop a solid relationship with the dramatic material in its various artistic languages;
Ability to integrate a cohesive workteam as a communicative structure appropriate to the theatrical performance.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Practical experience of the creation of a theatrical performance in all stages of the actor's process, including the necessary training.
Continuous assessment: Practical work 50%
Final evaluation: Presentation 50%
