Syllabus

1. How to approach a dramatic text 2. The dramaturgical analysis 3. Analysis of the technical aspects: speech, articulation, meaning. 4. Dialogue text: characteristics and challenges 5. The monologue or soliloquy 6. How to tell a story 7. Presentation Offending the Audience by Peter Handke. 8. Making of a short film of the paly.

Objectives

Provide students with basic skills at the level of approach to a text in terms of its dramaturgical, interpretive and technical aspects. Work on the texts in practice, encouraging joint observation and analysis, seeking to correct errors. Make a small film (in collaboration with the Degree in Film and Audiovisuals) with the aim of subjecting students to a professional practice in context.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

t is intended that students would be able to analyze a text, solve their technical problems ( speech, articulation, voice, and understand the context of the text, it´s meaning, and also to solve their interpretative problems.
