Syllabus
1.Improvisation and Physical Composition.
2.Conscientiation of the body and understanding of the functioning of the actor's preparation in the practice of improvisation and composition.
3. Theoretical / practical exploration of the various physical approaches to Improvisation and Theatrical Composition.
4. Spatial relationship, form, gesture, time, duration, kinetic response, architecture and repetition.
5. Contemporary dance techniques (release)
6.Contact Improvisation (technique) and Feldenkrais Method
7.Development of a theatrical composition from the subject matter given in class.
8. Reflections: development of written and verbal reports from the work developed ..
Objectives
a) To deepen and develop the knowledge of a physical, specific and contemporary training in the area of movement and its applications.
b) To create, improvise and develop works based on themes and theatrical and creative stimuli.
c) Understand and develop processes of improvisation and composition
d) Observe, analyze and articulate personal practical experience in a group (oral and documentary).
e) To explore the somatic question in the connection of the practice of the Feldenkrais Method
f) To apply notions of contemporary dance and "contact improvisation
Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
1-It is intended that the student be endowed with an individualized body expression and an understanding of the vocabulary of movement.
2-The student should demonstrate a clear mastery of the components of the movement, integrated in a context of scenic composition according to the requirements introduced in the classes. Understanding of the body on the scene from its dramaturgical analysis.
3-Consciousness of the expansion of the poetic universe of the interpreter
4-Develop tools, vocabulary and artistic resources that precede the word through the study of the elements that compose the daily life, and its application in the theatrical context.
5. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of methods of preparation / training of the actor in practice.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching is practical.From the autonomy of each student, through individual work and collaborative learning in group and reflection.
(1) Laboratory classes;
(2) Practical practical and expressive activities of the movement domain;
(3) Laboratory classes for the application of the techniques;
(4) Individual works; public works; public works written presentations.
The evaluation is continuous, on a face-to-face basis, and takes into account the following parameters:
a) Attendance, quality participation in the class, and timely fulfillment of the proposed tasks; 50%
b) Application in practical context of the techniques developed in class context; 25%
c) Presentation of practical and written work 25%
