To make the student capable of possessing:

- Autonomy in the development of a technical-scientific study project in the area of Aerospace Design and Development, as well as the capacity to execute it.

- Knowledge of rules of preparation and presentation of a study and research report.

- Knowledge of processes essential to the development of an aircraft as well as associated methodologies, such as project management or engineering of complex systems.

- Ability to speak and publicly defend its work

Teaching methodologies and assessment

Methodology: The teaching method aims to encourage student initiative in the educational process of its own formation. The class structure is composed of theoretical, practical and laboratory classes. In the practical classes the student will present what was apprehended by him, followed by a discussion about the new knowledge and some main guidelines that could help in the conduct of his work.

EVALUATION: The evaluation will be carried out by appraisal of the Final Report and presentation and defense of the work before the teacher (0.5H), according to the Regulation of Knowledge Assessment of the ULP) and Regulation of Functioning of the Discipline.
