This curricular unit aims to address the basics in the field of Electrotechnics by learning basic circuit resolution methods, thus laying the groundwork for understanding more complex electronic circuits to develop in other curricular units of the course.

Provide a range of different analysis techniques to students for DC circuits and single phase AC for use in engineering applications.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

Rather than merely expository sessions, it is intended that the "Theoretical" (T) sessions have a component thread. In the "Practical and Laboratory Practice" (PL) sessions examples / exercises of application will be presented. "Tutorial" sessions will use the e-learning system.

The evaluation will be carried out in a semester and it will be a continuous evaluation in accordance with the general regulation of ULP.
