Presentation

This CU intends that the students develop a project (in the area of Human Resource Management) in a real work context or an internship report, in order to apply the theory learned throughout the course and systematize the knowledge acquired. Objectives

Throughout this CU students will integrate knowledge acquired in the various units of the undergraduate curriculum. Thus, based on methodological aspects of the preparation and presentation of academic work, students should develop an individual work. This study, accompanied by the project coordinator, will have to submit, necessarily, a solid theoretical foundation and a consistent empirical analysis, and must be based on a comprehensive survey of the topics addressed.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

The phased submission of reports, also in seminar format, is the chosen approach, so that students can share with each other the state of the art of their work.
The evaluation method is traditionally continuous, which means that each student should be assessed in terms of four elements and have an attendance of at least 75% of classes (can be given up three fouls):

  • Project Design (10%)
  • Report I / Seminar I (25%: 30% oral + 70% written)
  • Report II / Seminar II (25%: 30% oral + 70% written)
  • Final Work / Final Seminar (40%: 30% oral + 70% written)

Pedagogical innovation practices:

Classes are guided through a tutorial and collective discussion, where students discuss with each other and with the teacher the study methodologies they are applying. This logic of joint discussion, allows each student to look at the study problem from various perspectives.
