Labour Relations


Labor relations encompass the regulation of work and employment, integrating not only the law in force, but also norms, Collective Labor Regulation Instruments, among others, as well as informal rules, uses and customs, and covers a complex web of social and political processes and relationship between the different social partners.

The syllabus allows students to have a comprehensive perspective of industrial relations, identifying models of legal regulation and negotiation at the enterprise level, under collective negotiations.

Teaching methodologies and assessment

Presentation of theoretical contents with demonstration and resolution of real practical cases. Encouraging student participation in the reflection and discussion of the practical cases presented. Assessment: continuous, through an assessment test with a weight of 50%, an individual assignment with a weight of 50%; or final, through a final exam with a weight of 100%.
