Objectives
The 1st cycle degree in Civil Engineering establishes a comprehensive training, which aims to provide students with a solid education, composed of the basic sciences, the theories and knowledge in traditional areas of civil engineering and also to introduce new areas of knowledge, scientific content, tools and technologies for the development of the area.
Also to prepare students with skills and knowledge of broad scope in the field of Civil Engineering, which allows a solid overview of the principles and fundamental theories of the techniques and technologies used. Training professionals with expertise in the areas of design, planning and construction management. Equip professionals with knowledge and ability in creating scenarios and resolving technical problems. Add the ability to use programming languages ??and computational tools in the creation of scenarios, problem solving, project implementation, planning and construction management. Extending the skills of professionals to collaborate in projects / studies / interdisciplinary plans.
Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
A 1st cycle degree in Civil Engineering covers a wide range of areas and is intended to meet the demand for specialized training by employers. Therefore, it becomes essential to the development of skills and competencies to respond to the incessante chang of labor market, which implies a solid theoretical and practical preparation of students.
