- Identify the different typologies of editing;

- Acquire notion of rhythm, musicality, duration of plan and formal adequacy of the montage to the meaning of the narration;

- Identify the basic elements common to each of editing programs;

- Recognize processes, techniques and mechanisms for post-production work;

- Apply this knowledge in exercises throughout the semester;

- Introduction: Presentation of the discipline, exercises and evaluation rules;

- Basic tchnical fundamentals to editing process;

- Technical expertise: learning the manipulation of digital editing tools;

- Color Grading;

- Chroma Key;

- Masks and video composition;


 Seize technical and artistic resources in the context of post-prodution;

- Know how to plan and define projects and methods of work in the field of editing and post-production;

- Understand video post-production;

- Use all contents learned;

Teaching methodologies and assessment

The classes have practical content, and the presentation class will have the theoretical component with the projection of knowledge to acquire them. All information regarding each exercise will be given and explained in class.

The evaluation will be continuous and without final exam, where will be evaluated through 8 exercises throughout the semester, these exercises delivered through the Moodle platform, resulting in a final average evaluation with the total value of 19 values.

Participation will have a weight of 1 value in the final grade.

The student must compulsorily attend at least 70% of the classes.

If you do not complete the course by continuous assessment, there will be the exam, which will be a practical exercise with a weight of 20 values.
