Objectives
It is intended that the student is able:
To understand and have knowledge of different participatory methodologies that can be applied in different social contexts and using multiple tools for working with populations.
Identification of historical references, concepts and authors who have contributed to the evolution of the field of research, promoting in contemporary world its greater visibility and applicability
Consider science is a process of take into account a critical thinking on the deployment processes and discuss the ethical issues that can came out when the investigation mixes with social spectrum, getting involved directly with children, young people and adults
In current society is still of vital importance to link participatory methodologies and new technologies, the new journalistic expressions and lifelong learning in different learning spaces and citizenship.

Student should be able to understand and have knowledge of different participatory methodologies that can be applied in different social contexts and using multiple tools for working with populations

Theoretical framework
Critical reading of fundamental texts, in which students will have to think on the basis of the PhD project or other project they know or have done
Seminars with experts who have projects already implemented or to be implemented and which could serve as an example of to how to foster new ideas for project (communities, journalism, organizations, tertiary sector)

Critical Participation in class (10%)
Final essay (as article) with empirical study (90%)
The final essay deadline: 2 months after the last class.
