Qualification requirements and regulations

Candidates should have completed secondary school or equivalent qualification. Under current legislation any course of secondary education is qualification enough to compete.
The applicant must submit proof of completion of the national survey of the discipline that the establishment has taken as proof of admission to the course they want to apply and meet the minimum score of 95 points.

Objectives

In an accelerated society with clash of interests in global development, the Actors responsible for their transformations are prepared to changethe system of values, innovate and adapt to new methodologies and management techniques. That is the great challenge facing the new leaders of today throughout the Public Administration, to be able to respond in time of crisis, to big bets that global changes and developments in public organizations, regional and local cause.
This truly multidisciplinary degree based on the study not only of management sciences, as well as social science, selected and aimed to politicians, managers and technicians in this area of ¿¿future graduates be qualified to meet the growing needs and challenges of our time

Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired

Graduates should know and understand theories, methods, limits and nature of management and regional administration and local government;
To know and interpret the concepts, structures, contexts and ideas that support the instrumental public administration, regional administration and local government;
Acquiring basic concepts in environment, planning and land development and geographic information science;
Acquire skills in specific areas of management and regional administration and local government, including municipal accounting, planning and urban and regional human resources management;
Garnering the intellectual skills necessary to identify, describe and evaluate information relevant in regional administration and local government;
Reach generic intellectual skills to develop arguments, synthesise relevant information and produce critical judgments about the economic, social and environmental in national and regional administration and local government;
Enhancing personal skills to handle, select and communicate information (written and oral);
Develop personal skills to perform work independently with initiative and self-discipline.
